Assaia offers AI-based computer-vision solutions that monitor and analyse aircraft turnaround processes from video streams. Assaia’s solutions help airports and airlines improve on-time performance, efficiency, safety, and sustainability metrics, helping them get their passengers to their destinations on time. To further strengthen our delivery process we are looking for a SRE/SysOps Engineer to join our team for a full-time remote position. This unique position is a great opportunity to build a great career at an international company moving to the top of AI-driven software services for aviation.‍

Responsibilities

• Manage and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, On-prem k8s installations).
• Maintain and operate complex infrastructure.
• Deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
• Working on ways to automate and improve release processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and assist with monitoring.
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Participate in projects that involve cross-team collaboration.
• Explore and adopt innovative technologies to improve efficiency, reliability and automation.

Requirements

• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to simultaneously manage multiple priorities.
• Hands-on experience in managing on-premise Kubernetes installation.
• Experience as an IT/System administrator or SysOps.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Collaborative team spirit.

Nice to have

• Understanding of machine learning and computer vision technologies.
• Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
