To further strengthen our delivery process we are looking for a Planning and Release Manager to join our team for a full-time remote position. This unique position is a great opportunity to build a great career at an international company moving to the top of AI-driven software services for aviation.

Deploying Assaia’s systems for customers requires a successful release management process. You will be responsible for coordination of all activities, timelines, deliverables and communication between Assaia’s teams and the customer leading to successful solution implementation.

As a Planning and Release Manager, you will report directly to the CIO and collaborate closely with different internal teams (ML, SRE, QC, Customer Support etc.), as well as customer teams.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate releases and release activities across internal teams.
  • Identify dependencies and risks related to releases.
  • Actively participate in Change Management process.
  • Coordinate and execute deployment.
  • Manage the end-to-end release process.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all release-related information.
  • Communicate schedules, release status, timelines, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage potential scheduling or release-related risks and issues.
  • Develop contingency plans and manage escalations.
  • Continuously improve release processes and automation strategies.

Requirements

  • Previous successful experience with managing scheduling and release management activities in a software company.
  • 5+ years of experience in software release management and planning.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good understanding of SDLC process.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or ITSM principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to simultaneously manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with the aviation industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of machine learning and computer vision technologies will be beneficial for this role.
